THREE RIVERS REGIONAL LIBRARY SYSTEM

Talking Book Center

Did you know?

If you are unable to enjoy books or magazines because you cannot see well enough to read regular print

OR

because a physical disability prevents you from handling printed material, you may wish to take advantage of a

FREE

service from the Library of Congress.

Talking books are recorded books and magazines on cassettes. The books are recorded at a slower speed than regular cassettes, so a special player is required which is also loaned free of charge.

Eligibility

If you are (or someone you know is) legally blind, cannot focus long enough to read even with glasses or contacts, cannot turn pages because of a physical handicap, or if you have (or someone you know has) a reading disability that  is severe enough to prevent reading in the usual manner, please contact
