Three Rivers Regional Library System
The Three Rivers Regional Library System has an immediate opening for a Library
Manager.
The Three Rivers Regional Library System seeks an enthusiastic, customer
oriented individual to serve as Library Manager for the Ida Hilton Public
Library in Darien, Georgia. Duties include, but are not limited to,
providing library service and programming to people of all ages, supervising and
training library staff, providing reference services, patron registration,
maintaining the library collection, promoting library services throughout the
community, participating in the selection and review of library materials,
providing assistance and instruction on the use of the computer, preparing
annual budgets and maintaining statistical records.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school degree or equivalent required.
Customer service oriented.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
Effective managerial skills and supervisory experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Effective computer skills.
Library experience.
Agree to submit to a background check and have results that meet the
expectations of the employer.
Ability to push, pull or lift up to 25 lbs; sit or stand for long periods of
time; kneel, stoop, bend or stretch in order to reach items.
